There are moments when you realize that hope is not just a word. It is an action. It is small hands holding a flowerpot, shining eyes watching a first sprout emerge, and the smile of a child rediscovering that they are capable.<\/p>

For 1,400 children in communities across the border with Lebanon, this is a time to recover from a complex and challenging reality. We would like to share with you a special moment of hope and growth they experienced thanks to you.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A Journey of Renewal and Growth<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn addition to being a festive Jewish holiday, Tu BiShvat is the time for mid-year report cards in elementary schools across Israel. It was on this occasion that, for the second year in a row, Nitzan distributed personal flowerpots bearing the message “Seeds of Hope”, as recognition for their efforts during the first term and as hope for what lies ahead. This initiative combines the spirit of the holiday with students’ achievements. This is much more than a project. It is a meaningful milestone in their journey of recovery and renewal.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t

What happens there, in the classrooms?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The flowerpots were distributed among students as part of a special activity, accompanied by a meaningful discussion that allowed them to reflect on their learning process and on the personal, emotional, and social growth they have experienced. This process strengthened their sense of efficacy and confidence.<\/p>

Each child received not only a flowerpot, but an emotionally rich encounter. The children shared with their facilitators what Nitzan has given them, their own growth process, and what they hope to see flourish in their future. The flowerpot symbolizes the ability of each child to grow, develop, and thrive, especially during challenging times.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Why is this so important right now?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

These children have been through a period that left scars. These are evident in their surroundings, in their academic performance, in their emotional wellbeing and in their social life. But at the same time, something wonderful is happening. These children are learning to recover.<\/p>

A sapling that needs consistent watering, sunlight, and patience; so are the children. This is exactly what they receive at Nitzan. Personal attention, ongoing nurturing, and unwavering belief, even when growth is slow.<\/p>

      60 Years of Experience, Thousands of Children, One Moment of Truth<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFor six decades, Nitzan has accompanied children with learning disabilities and ADHD. We believe that every child can flourish, given the right conditions.
