Become your child's natural coach and strengthen your family relationships!
Through a breakthrough intervention method, you will acquire effective tools to handle conflict situations and deepen the bond with your child.
What is Parental Coaching using the E.C.C Method?
The Emotional Cognitive Coaching (E.C.C) method is a unique coaching approach for parents of children with ADHD and learning disabilities. Developed by Dr. Mali Danino, CEO of Nitzan Association, the method is evidence-based and has been implemented successfully in Israel and worldwide for over a decade.
This is a short-term intervention focused on the parent, empowering them to become their child’s “natural coach.” The method shifts the focus from the child as the “primary patient” to the parent’s well-being. It provides parents with the opportunity to look inward, recognize their strengths and weaknesses, and understand behavioral patterns that may be hindering their progress.
Self-awareness and reframing the challenges are the two therapeutic forces that allow parents to generate significant change. This transformation positively impacts their relationships with those around them, and most importantly, with their child.
In the coaching process, you will:
- Acquire tools for effectively managing daily conflict situations.
- Develop the ability to support your child through social, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Identify and cultivate your inner strengths.
- Learn to use connecting and empowering communication.
- Improve relationships within and outside the family.
Format: The process consists of 12 weekly sessions (1.5 hours each) with a certified Nitzan coach. Sessions can be held in person or via Zoom, for individuals or couples.
Benefits and Outcomes
- For Children: Strengthening self-esteem, developing self-awareness, boosting confidence and sense of belonging, and improving relationships.
- For Parents: Developing self-awareness, gaining tools for conflict resolution, and improving overall family dynamics.
